Argh

Tonight was an exercise in frustration. Tiny little ones that have no bearing on my actual life whatsoever, but are annoying nonetheless. First, and really, keep in mind that I am actually aware that this does not matter, but am annoyed despite of it, these pants go with nothing that I own. This outfit? Does not look like much, but it still took me an hour to put together, and I had to go out and BUY the shirt. And it STILL doesn't look all that great.

So then I decide to take a picture so I can blog it (because damned if I'm going to waste that hour putting it together without SOME payoff) and SL won't let me save a picture to my hard drive. Again. Finally? I emailed the picture to myself and saved it from there. It is RIDICULOUS. And the picture's lousy, but seriously, I don't care at this point. Even my avatar is clearly frustrated.



Meh, stupid leather pants of cuteness that go with nothing. Why did you have to tempt me with your hotness and then make it so difficult to pair you up? WHYYYYYYY.

Ahem.

I managed to hit the Vintage Fair for a hot minute today... lag's still awful, but it was manageable. Most everything I'm wearing is from there... but they have SO MUCH. It's amazing.



I switched it up today and used my bedroom. Oh yeah. I'm creative.

But Baby, it's Cold Outside!

I had to dress up all wintery for a picture today, and I liked my outfit so much that I didn't want to take it off, even though it's a little bit early for quite this wintery of clothing.

Don't ask me what I'm doing in this picture, for I do not know. I look dorky, and I don't care, because I still look cute.



Look, I even got off my ass and actually tracked down a sim instead of snapping a picture in my living room! And actually, it's a really cool sim, check it out.

Okay, now I have a little bit of a rant. I've been trying to get to the vintage fair for days. Now, I love fairs. They're a bunch of awesome rolled up into one big place, and in the words of Gracie, "I'll put up with a hell of a lot of lag for a fair." And I've never been to a fair that DIDN'T have a lot of lag. But... it's usually SOMEWHAT manageable. Now, the vintage fair? I can't move. Literally. I land there, and I'm stuck. I can't even tp OUT. I don't know what the issue is, and I know 90% of it is likely not their fault, because people waltz in, with their high script hair and shoes and stupid skirts, as if anyone there can even SEE them, when you can't see shit. But there has to be SOMETHING they can do, whether it's more restarts, or what, because I have never been to a fair with lag this bad.

Clearly, I Own Too Much Brown

What can I say? I'm a fan of earth tones.



And yes, I continue to take half-assed pictures of myself in my living room because I am too lazy to go find some different location, and/or a variety of poses.

I love that skirt though. Loooooooove it. I just plain love The Sea Hole, honestly, even if the majority of their stuff is primmy and I have to sit for an hour adjusting everything to fit and praying that my ass isn't too big.

So I'm going to do this, I think. Wish me luck.

Yeah, so people are yelling at me for not updating. So here I am!

Oddly enough, I really haven't done that much shopping in the month or so since I last updated.

But I did pick up this dress at Collabor88 the other day. Now, here's what I don't understand about this dress, which I love, in theory. Juicy blogged this EXACT SAME dress, color and everything, the other day, and it looked amazing, and she commented on how seamless the mesh panel was with the dress, color, all that. Now, as you can see? I have not had the same experience. The mesh looks great, but... the color doesn't match up exactly, and it seems REALLY obvious to me. And I fiddled with my lighting, and I can't seem to get it to match up. So that's super frustrating. And I really love the dress, so it's really irritating.



I also went lingerie shopping yesterday, and I visited Madi's Secrets, where I haven't been in forever, and picked up this little number:

Two for One

I've been sitting on these for a while, my bad. I kept trying to get something sorted, and I'd get sidetracked, and just kept forgetting to post.

ANYWAY. So yeah, I'm dressed like it's 20 degrees out in the first one, but in my defense, I was freezing IRL.


I love that LeLutka hair. I wish I find more outfits to wear it with. It only looks okay on me with certain things.

And then when I was obviously feeling a bit warmer.


Went to the jewelry fair yesterday, managed to pick up some loot. Yay new stuff!

Not sure what look I was going for here... maybe country girl meets hooker? Come to think of it, a lot of my outfits could be described as so-and-so meets hooker... hm.

ANYWAY. I could barely get a picture saved today, SL was being a total douche. It took about 30 minutes just to get this one, and I didn't feel like staying for another half hour to try and get one more. They need to fix this viewer before I start a boycott.

Fun fact about my hair today, I've had this hair for months and totally forgot about it until recently when I randomly saw someone wearing it out and thought, "That hair looks cute, I wonder OH I HAVE THAT." It's possible I have too much hair.

I Want an Apple

I guess I'm really loving the neutral color palette this week. I had to dig deep, because I'm having one of those days where I really hate everything in my wardrobe, but I ended up liking this outfit, actually.

The hair is new... I decided to give LeLutka another try, because Rory always looks really cute, and I managed to find two hairs that didn't look like crap on me. Score.

First Post!

So evidently, according to someone, I have too much time on my hands, and take too long to get dressed. Which apparently means, start a blog! So I let that ruminate for a while, and then I figured, what the hell, I'm awesome at starting things I don't finish, and it's been a while! So here we are!

I am a self-confessed fashion addict in Second Life. Actually, that's probably overstating it. I don't know that I know fashion very well in SL, I just know what I like. Sometimes that's what's considered fashionable, many times it's likely not. I kind of don't care, as long as I think I look good. THAT SAID. I am most definitely a shopping addict, as I'm sure many, many people are in there.

So here's what I wore today. You'll have to forgive the crappy pictures, I have a terrible graphics card and no photo editing skills whatsoever. I'd promise that they'll get better, but... let's just play that by ear.

It's starting to feel like Autumn where I live, just a bit in the air, so I'm starting to let go of the tank top and flip flops. I had a tank on with the skirt, but it just didn't quite fit, so I added this little cardigan I picked up the other day at Honey Kitty.

Also, my yard, as you can see, is in the midst of transition, so clearly I'm ready to let summer go. It only took about an hour to put this outfit together. Yes, I have no life, and therefore have that kind of time to waste. I'm not proud. I couldn't for the life of me find a pair of earrings I liked with the outfit, so I finally made myself stop... I had clearly wasted enough time on this already.
